On Saturday, November 10, FAMILY CHESS DAY will take place at the Spring Hill Branch Library, 9220 Spring Hill Drive. It begins at 10 A.M. and will continue until 2 P.M.
Poor Rich’s Chess Club is organizing the event. The club will provide chess sets and boards, as well as expert coaches who can work with all skill levels.
The club urges parents to bring children and other relatives. It is easier to learn chess than many people think, and if you already know how the coaches can teach you how to play better.
It’s fun and it’s free! This is a continuation of a program that began in 2011, with two successful Family Chess Days. Call (352) 596-1415 if there are questions.
